The best chippy I’ve had in a long time. Very friendly service as soon as I walked in, everything was cooked fresh for us. We had a large cod and small chips each, which was plenty. The chips are battered (it’s a regional thing) and have a beautiful crunch with a fluffy interior. (Very moreish) the fish was perfectly cooked and flaky, with a thin very crisp batter. We went for takeaway and ate it in the car, but there is plenty of seating inside too. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be back.

The food here is absolutely amazing , I use this chippy every single time. The owner and his wife are so friendly, they are the reason why I use this as well as the food. The chips are the best chips in the whole of the midlands and everything is cooked fresh to order. I would recommend this place to anyone. If I could give them 6 starts I would

23/09/24 Fantastic! The picture doesn't do it justice. We had chicken and battered chips, kebab meats and chips. The food was delicious. The chicken better than KFC. The battered chips, so beautiful. My daughters couldn't get enough of both of the chips or the chicken. My meats, kebab meats were succulent, delicious and perfectly flavoured. The plain chips were something else. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, very courteous. The place is very clean and a nice place to sit and eat very comfortable and warm and welcoming. Couldn't give thanks enough after such a wonderful experience. Great 5 stars for everything. Excellent 🙏

Just been to this restaurant the fish and chips were absolutely amazing the best chip shop food I have had in a long time. The owners of this place are so lovely and friendly I will definitely recommend and be back here again

Went in on the way home to derby, what a find the people behind the counter were really nice, ordered 2 specials fish chips peas and sausage chips peas , massive portions far too much for me. The food was piping hot as well, freshly cooked , well worth a visit
